What it is

The Harry's event page should feel bookable, not vague.

Solstice is one of the strongest reasons Harry's has to ask people to plan ahead. The old page had all the raw information but too much clutter. This version keeps the useful bits: the dates, the venue, the event shape, the prices, and the practicalities that help someone decide now.

At a glance

  • Live music, DJs and a silent disco
  • Yoga, Pilates, sound bath and sauna sessions
  • Kids' Sparkle & Shine disco and storytelling
  • Food trucks, horsebox bars, coffee and brunch
  • Fire pits, hot showers and squeaky-clean eco loos
  • Loads of room for families, groups, solo campers and dogs

Dates, venue, and the bits people actually need.

  • Optional extra nights: Thursday arrival and/or Monday departure
  • Minimum two-night stay across the Fri–Sun weekend
  • Hosted at The Old Airfield Campsite, Burley, Christchurch, BH23 8EB
  • Not Holmsley Campsite — that confusion is common, so it is worth stating clearly

The live site is right to emphasise the venue name here. People do mix these sites up, so the clarification is worth keeping.

FAQs

The practical questions people actually ask.

Can I bring a campervan or roof tent?

Yes. Campervans, motorhomes, roof tents, trailer tents and standard tents are all welcome for Solstice weekend.

Can we camp together if we've booked separately?

Yes. There is plenty of room to set up your own camp together. If your group is six or more, it is worth flagging it in advance so the team can expect you.

What time does the music run?

The live bands start from around 6pm, with acoustic sets in the late afternoon and DJs into the evening. It feels like an event weekend, but not an all-night free-for-all.

How do yoga, Pilates and sauna sessions work?

Guests can sign up around arrival and also enquire ahead of time by emailing bookings@harryscampsites.co.uk. The weekend is designed to mix music, wellbeing and wide-open campsite downtime.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please keep them on leads and clear up after them.

Is there electric hook-up?

No. Solstice is a camping and glamping event without electric hook-up pitches.
